How are you doing today?

What state of mind are you mostly in, during these days of uncertainty?

Gratitude and appreciation are the foundations of a beautiful life of joy and contentment overall. However, living through what is currently taking place in the world today, it becomes all the more important to simply root oneself in the good, the beautiful, and begin counting the simple blessings we have been bestowed, the essentials of life.

Let me count my blessings one by one on my fingertips!

I’m alive.

Breathing. Still breathing and this breath moves in and out of my body.

Food and nourishment are available to me.

I have shelter, a place to lay down my head to sleep.

I can use my mind… in tons of different and creative ways.

I can read and write and express myself.

My body functions well, it’s processes still supporting the life in me.

I can reach out to others. I have means of communication, of sharing my joys and hurts, my life.

There is peace of mind within my reach, and I can intentionally focus on it, whenever I want more.

I can support and inspire others through example.

I am a creature of love, of peace, of bliss and joy and a tangle of wondrous experiences.

I can use the power of my imagination at my command to conjure up outcomes I wish to experience.

..

.

Once you begin, you begin to realise that there is no limit.

Every moment, every experience, every single thing is a blessing in life, bringing fresh insights, new results, thought processes, behaviours, growth, and change.

Change is the only constant ever, the eternal paradox of life!

All we need to do is become more intentional in our living. All we need to do is focus on the inherent good. All we need to do is be vibrantly aware of all our blessings.

Today, let me count my blessings one by one.

As a mindfulness practitioner and life-design coach, I help clients focus on well-being and personal growth and make life choices that prioritize their mental and emotional health.
