  1. Meditate: Meditation is not connected to any religion. Simply stated, meditation is self-connection and self-awareness. You can meditate in different ways; find what suits you and stick to it. Be consistent. It’s simply a means of getting in touch with yourself and listening to your inner Voice. That’s it.
  2. Count your blessings: Countless blessings have been given to you, count them all, one by one… “That’s quite impossible!” you would say. Yes it is, I agree. Learn to focus on your blessings. Just the fact that you are alive is a blessing; the fact that you are breathing is a blessing; the fact that you can move is a blessing; your body functions beautifully, that is a blessing; you have things that you need; you have things that you do not need, that is a blessing. Count your countless blessings.
  3. Give thanks: Gratitude. Appreciate each moment. Life is a gift, take time to appreciate it. Have you ever gifted anything to anyone? Did they ever thank you for it? Were they happy with it? Did they express their joy and gratitude? How did you feel? Did your heart expand? Did you feel like bringing more for them? Life gives us so much, let us be thankful to life, to God, to the Universe, to Source… whatever you believe in. Let us just be thankful. When we are thankful, we somehow, get so… so much more!
  4. Let Music meander through your soul: Music is the universal language; allow those vibrations to thrill every bit of you, every itsy-bitsy bit of you. Music is Joy. Music makes your soul vibrate, music makes your feet tippy-tappy, and music can influence your emotions like nothing else can. Allow music to run through your life.
  5. Dance. Why? Simply because you can. You get to live this life, it’s a gift. Live it fully, joyfully. Celebrate life, dance through it, have fun!
  6. Read: It nurtures the soul. What to read? Novels can be fun, but there is so much knowledge from the collective human consciousness, especially today it is available to us at a click. There are libraries full of beautiful books. Take time to nourish your soul. Tap into that collective human knowing. Read, explore, learn, grow, empower yourself. Fill yourself up. Read.
  7. Let Nature nurture you: Research says that even a 5 minute exposure to nature can rejuvenate you. Try 5 times 5, 50 times 5. Take time to recharge in nature, it could be a walk or hike or trek or even just sitting under a tree. Get good at just enjoying nature without any other distractions. Allow nature to nurture you.
  8. Breathe deeply: Our breath is our life force. Breathe as deeply as you can, allow that life-giving breath to move into each and every single cell, oxygenating it, nourishing it, giving it a chance to really flourish. Breathe deeply as much as you can, and ensure that breath circulates through your body, touching every bit. Make it a daily practice. If required, learn some techniques of deep breathing; they are really simple and fun.
  9. Indulge in creative expression: Do something creative, whatever that may be for you; it could be singing in the shower, cooking, even painting the walls of your home, journalling your thoughts into your journal, writing a piece of poetry, or even doodling on paper. There is an artist inside each and every one of us. Feed this part of yourself to satisfy your soul. All the objects that surround us are the result of someone’s creative expression. Have fun, create; you are essentially a creator!
  10. Show yourself some LOVE. Self-love is not selfish. Narcissism is. Vanity is. When you truly love yourself, you open up to loving the rest of the world; you are no longer needy of love. Allow your heart to expand with love for yourself and for everything that surrounds you. Just allow it to project you outwards, ever-outwards, expanding, ever-expanding. Nothing can touch a person who has an aura of loving energy around them, rather they transform all those they touch!

I hope these 10 recharge tips will be useful to you. Of course, there are many, many more. The list is endless. Add to it your favourites.

Thanks and Blessings!
